Problems with Aquastream Shower?

My shower is still running slighly from the shower head, and the shower is off? I have spoken to Aqualisa and they say I need a new thermo cartridge, at £105 do i need the whole cartridge or just the gasket ? seems like alot of money for just a little water still pooring out.
