Mend Gilera Cougar 125 Started

how can i fix my Gilera Cougar 125cc?

I have a 2001 Gilera Cougar 125. It has started cutting out everytime I put it in gear. Any ideas why? Revs are fine, turns over first time every time but as soon as kicked into gear it dies. Ok when clutch put in, just when gear engaged , and happens on any gear.
Any help most appreciated.

u might have a problem with the wiring on the side stand, most bikes have a cut out switch on the side stand
