Gilera DNA 125cc?

is there a way of checking this out as i have removed the engine from bike.

the ignition timing cannot slip as it has cdi electronic ignition but the valve timing can slip but only if the cam chain tensioner isnt working correctly.this model you have is prone to big end bearings seizing and also they drop valves.unlike the two valve leader engine that the piaggio et4 uses your has a 4 valve leader engine that the gilera runner vx uses and a few other piaggio models.
