How can I fix my Simpson Maxidry 505SR - no hot air ?
My dryer seems to function normally except there is no heat, just a lot of cool air - what are the likely causes ? Some threads (about other dryers) suggest the thermostats might have gone - Hoe do I check if the thermostat is OK or not ?
In my experience with several dryers, its more likely the heating element has blown. Replacements can be purchased readily. In most case though you need to remove the drum to access the heating element.
