The boot lining needs to be folded back, peeled away, to allow access to the rear light cluster. This is achieved by starting at the top of the lining where the boot hinge arm enters the boot lining; the lining is split at this point, swhich is why you must start the peeling process here. The lining is fairly flexible, and peeling it away carefully should allow replacement without problems.
When you have exposed the rear light cluster the rest is straightforward, and once the lamp has been replaced the lining can be eased back in the reverse way to which it was moved.
