how do i find the alignment marks for fitting the cambelt on a pug 205 1124cc j reg?

Peugeot Peugeot 205 1.1 Vehicles, Cars Cambelt J Reg

The alignment marks can be found on the cam gears. You failed to mention if you have a single overhead cam or dual overhead cam head. If you have a single overhead cam head the cam gear has a mark on it. These marks have to line up with mark on the crankshaft. If by chance it is a dual overhead ( 2 cams ) the marks have to be on a angle ( facing in ) matching up to the mark on the crank
