What's wrong with my Flymo Compact 330?

my flymo 330 for some reason only operates at half speed. I let it cool down for 30 mins for the thermal switch. But still not much life! Any ideas?

There is a drive belt between the motor and the blade spindle which has snapped. Remove blade, take out grass box. Motor assy (white) can be removed and stripped. Balance the time/cost of this against a new mower!
