Even with "water only" switch on, the heating comes on eventhough I've selected the "No Heating" control. It's an Ideal Classic boiler (FF210). The control panel model is LP112 (Lifestyle)can you help, please?
Given your model, it is now a few years old so the fact that you need to change your mid-pos valve either through weaken return springs or even one broken, consideration should be given to the water quality as all to often in my experience this is the cause of this components failure.

classic system boiler, it must be motorised valve fault, either stuck in mid position if a mid valve or failed open if a seperate zone valve.
that would be my first check.

sounds like the diverter valve is stuck in either ch position (the natural resting position) or mid position if your still getting hot or wram dhw when you turn the tap on.
