how do you bleed the fuel in a vivaro ctdi 1.9?

I changed the fuel pump to the one off the old engine which again ran fine but still no fuel going through it i have checked all the timing 3 times checked the shutoff valve is working and changed it as well and checked the second one. so i got fuel to the pump but not out of it if i remove the shutoff valve put my finger over the hole and squeeze the primer there is pressure there the valve is working i get a small bt of fuel out the return pipe but mothing not even a drop out the feeder pipe to the fuel bar.
