Mend Canon AE-1 Camera Not Advance

canon ae-1 camera film will not advance?

when i try to advance the film the lever moves half way then stops.

It sounds like the load sprocket has jammed.
Try pressing the film release button on the base of the camera, then see if you can move the lever fully.
