I need help repairing a hole in my celling?

if its a small hole dri-line a piece of plaster board to the inside and leave set before applying your macthing your artex coat.or cut plaster back to reveil half of the wooden joist either side of the hole and screw up a new board the build out and patch. i do this sort of stuff everyday.sorry i'm busy.
