Mend Velux VSE-308 Years 14 Replaced

Repairing a Velux skylight blind?

My Velux skylight blinds worked perfectly for years, now it will only go down 1/4 of the way. I've replaced the springs and checked the track, nothing is blocking it. Velux was no help at all, they said I needed to buy a new skylight, that's nuts!!!! Model # is VSE-308
