if you have tried adjusting handbrake cable (at rear o vehicle near exhast back box) and still too much play you need to adjust brake shoe - thats if, like mine, discs all round, take wheel off and you will see a rubber plug on disc/drum. take out and inside is adjusting nut. use flat screw driver to turn nut until you cant turn no more and wheel has locked. then turn back 4-5 notches to release shoes. do same withother wheel and adjust h/brake cable.
