Mend Ariston Eiro Hot Water Fine Working Manual

My boiler is not giving me hot water but the heating is fine?

The heating is working fine, both on the timer and manual, but when i run a hot tap the flame goes out and I can't get hot water at all. I've tried this when the timer is on and off and it just doesn't get hot. Usually running the hot tap powers up the flame but it's like it's reversed??

The pressure is high, but as soon as i run the hot tap the temperature dial drops.
It's an Ariston Eiro combi.

Thanks for your reply! The heating stopped working shortly after this (as if that wouldn't have happened)!
We're having the new boiler fitted on thursday, having the whole powerflush and rad thermostats put in too.
Pricey but totally worth it!

Sounds like the flow switch (or turbine) needs replacing

ie, the boiler doesnt get the signal that your dhw is flowing
