Mend Boiler Leak Heating

Leaking boiler?

My Boiler is leaking at the flange connections for the circulating pump. How serious is this? Can I fix this myself?

The circulating pump has fibre washers between the pump itself and its isolating valves....you may be able to cure the leak by simply tightening the huge nuts up - the problem is actually getting a spanner on to them! Failing this the pump should be isolated, nuts undone and the washers replaced, using appropriate sealant.
