Potterton Performa 30, pressure keeps dropping, can't find any evidence of a leak and yet the overflow pipe is dry. Have isolated the boiler from the heating and it still drops so not convinced of a leak, but it's not coming thru overflow. Any ideas where it's going and what to do?
Could be leak under the floor, not easy, how long pressure last ,if 4hours and drop back to 0 you are with out heating ,if not under floor the main heat exchanger has pin hole

download the service pdf manual, and refer to the fault section, theres some mention of a pressure micro switch.
iam no boiler man but the service manual is a must have,
I downloaded it out of curiosity after reading your post,
just thought I would mention that,it may help you troubleshoot the system.
Gud luck...

If the pressure is dropping, you have a leak. where else do you think it is going to go. spirited away.
