why wont my PS2 pick up my disc?

my ps2 wont read my disc's I went to the browser menu and it dosent show it what do I do and I can tell the disc wont spin(ps2 slim)

the reason is the eye is dirty you have to carefully clean the eye that reads the discs a little windex on a long Q-tip should work
