l have a baxi 80e coby boiler l took a heater off the wall to paint behind?

Have you refilled and topped up your boiler with water once refitted?
Make sure your flow and return pipes ave both been turned back to the open position....
Open the screw on the front of the pump to allow and air to escape.....

Just sounds like you dont have enough water in your boiler or system
