I have a Kenmore Model 385 12916890 and am having trouble with the traction?

Hi!

I am having issues with the traction, at least I think that is what it is called. The part underneath the foot that makes the material move. It has dropped below the plate that the material would sit on and I cannot get it to raise up. I am not sure if there is a button or switch that I need to press somewhere. Any help would be wonderful.

When you open the bobbin cover there should be a small lever on the right hand side.
