Mend Emerson LC320EM8A Green Light Flashes Red

I have and Emerson LC320EM8A LCD TV - 32"?

I try to turn it on, the green light flashes then to red. It happened last night as well but I got it to work. Now it doesn't turn on at all.

Help me. My husband gave it to me before leaving on a tour of duty and I want it fixed...I am very handy, help me!!!
