Mend PhoneMate 8250 Owned Years Machine

How can I fix Phonemate 8250???

I have owned the Phone mate 8250 for years and I like it, but recently the telephone works but the answering machine will not record or play messages. Is this a quick fix or where can I purchase another?

I love that phone. I will find it and post it and all this nonsense will end.
