How can i change the fuel filter on a 1998 ford escort?

loosen and remove the 10mm bolt in the centre, remove the catchment cup and cartridge, remove the old seals,

fit new seals, place new filter cartridge in holder... guide into place, replace 10mm through bolt and tighten (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) THESE EASILY SHEAR THE FILTER HOUSING.................prime by pressing the black cap on the side until resistance is felt.........(should be self priming) fire up and check for leaks.
Also make sure the tiny hole is clear for water to be drained off in the catchment cup at the bottom.
