My wife was driving to work when something under the hood started makeing a really loud grinding noise. Then it started bogging out now it won't start at all. I repaced the fuel filter, checked the alternater, changed the spark plugs. I don't know what to do. Could it be the fuel injectors? It turns over and starts to start but won't. Please help.
If it's making a loud grinding noise it sounds metallic. You will need to check everything that moves that is metal really.
If the engine is not starting now after loud grinding noise look to camshaft area first.
