It could be that the connector in the handle has come loose. Unplug the power cord. Find the seam where the upper part connects to the lower part. Take out the upper screw, slide the upper part towards the back. Make sure that the white plastic connector is fully seated, slide the handle back together and replace the screw. Plug in the cord and try it again.
