I want to fit an additional window in my bathroom. I have to knock a hole in the wall and need to know what regulations are required for supporting the wall above.
first you have to get planning permission my friend .and then put a lintel in as require by the planners,big job

you will need to fit lintol above window to support brickwork above,it might be an idea to hire an acro to suport the weight until lintol is in place.hope tis helps
