Hotpoint WF840 Wash. Mch. Displays "test"?

When trying to run a cycle, the machine displays "test", then goes through a test run then goes to "on" then same again. Help ! please.

whats happened is you may have accidently put it on the demo mode by preessing a couple of the buttons at the same time. phone hotpoint and they will be able to tell you over the phone how to get it off that mode
