This saw bogs down when I start to cut. It idles and starts well enough but when I try to cut with the slightest pressure the chain stops and the engins starts to bog down badly. Its like this whether I use a sharp chain or not. I cleaned the air filter and replaced the plug already.
Time for a carburettor clean and adjustment Alan - if the carb has 2 screws in the side, turn them gently fully in and then back out again one full turn to get you going. If your saw has done a lot of work, check that the exhaust silencer isn't blocked with carbonised oil.
