It depends what the actual fault is - if its just the rubber boot thats split then its fairly easy and cheap to replace (although very messy). If the CV joint is worn, an exchange driveshaft is the way to go. You dont even have to pull it out of the gearbox on these as it has a 6 bolt flange on the gearbox side.
