Mend Honda HS621 Model Remove Cap

snowblower center paddle assembly?

Honda model # hs621 I'm trying to remove the whole center paddle . How do I get the end cap off to release the bar to be able to get the whole assembly out... the bar and center blade are both broken .Thanks Shawn Perrin

There is a cover on the left side with 6 bolts that need to be removed. It will expose the belt/pulley and have a bolt on the end, remove it. On the opposite side there are 3 bolts that you should remove and the center unit will slide accross, and should come out. Mine did the same thing, seems to be common with these, and the replacement is $300 bucks...ouch.
