I have just had the same problem. Mine is a Super Major and hasn`t run for at least Ten years.If you remove the pull start casing ( Three bolts ).Then Two small bolts holding the mesh to the pull starter clutch. Knock the clutch unit Anti-clockwise.Once this is off the Flywheel should come off with a little force. Or a big hammer. Two further small bolts and the Points cover is exposed. The points are probally stuck, mine were. The correct gap is 20 thou. Make sure they open and shut correctly. Reassemble and hopefully away you you. Make sure key is lined up and washer is refitted and that you tighten clutch unit well,as failure to do this will shear the key which is supposed to be soft. I have changed mine now for less than £10. And mine runs like a dream but does need choke to start even when hot.
