Mend Cyberhome Was Just Wondering

I was just wondering?

I was just wondering about something. I bought a new tv a week ago. It's a Sony FD Trinitron Vega (KV-32HS420). I just noticed that whenever there's a white or yellowish background, it looks a bit purplish on the side. I also notice that when I turn off the tv. You know how you turn it off and if you look close enough you see a majority of the screen is gray. I realized that the left side of what's supposed to be gray is darker than normal but at night time it goes from the left side to the top. Should I be concerned about that. But it's not as bad and it doesn't do it on all the colors. I was just wondering if anyone has this same problem with theirs and if so, should I fix it, and if so how?

Also I don't know if it's also the stuff I hooked up to it causes a problem as well. I have hooked up to it a JVC vcr (HR-VP653U). A Cyberhome DVD Player (CH-DVD 300). And a Sony Playstation 2. Could one, two, or all of these cause a problem and if so how do I fix it. Also could sunlight and a light from a fan cause problems for a television?

This might seem irrelative, but set the TV image darker (or brighter) to avoid this. Hope this helps!

Yeah, it appears the sunlight and the light from the fan lamp caused the stripes on the television. Is there any way I can fix it rather than closing the window and leaving the fan light off for the rest of my life?
