How do I put my kirby back together?

I am trying to replace the fan on my kirby Heritage 2 vacuum. I have never done this before and took it apart more than necessary. OOPS!! Now I can't get the motor back together. Yeah I even took the center part out of the motor and there are two magnets on the top piece that are now touching each other and I can't get the bottom piece to fit back up in. I am unsure what to do about the magnet pieces and the 3 little rings that fell out when I took it apart. I have looked for motor schematics and have been unable to find them. I have schematics for the rest of the vacuum and can put it back together after this dilemma is solved. Please help. The worst part is I still haven't managed to get the old fan off!! If you could help me with this as well I would greatly appreciate it. That's what I get for thinking I can do it all huh??
