my car won't work. help!!!!?

1991 GEO Tracker 5 speed. Car was running fing on Firday drove the car for about 30 miles then I turned off the engine and then all the trouble started ,first the car was running sluggish and then stalled and would not start. I can start the car after approx. 2 hours but then when I try to move the car stalls. I can hear the fuel pump running when I try to start the car. I need help
