Mend Ford Transit Van Key

can i get a fob key?

The van came direct from Transco withone key. its a transit 2001 plate.it has the usual flashing light on the clock.but ifind it strange that no key fob?everytime you close door you have to open with key.automatically locks.is this normal.the van is in mint cond, 37000 miles.help please as hard work using key every time?

thankyou for your help.I guess cause its an ex transco van they cant leave it open.never mind will have to get a spare key cut .I bet that costs a fortune from ford? once again thank you sir.

You don't have central locking so no you can't get a key fob. The reason the back doors lock automatically is because they have slam locks fitted so the doors can't be left unlocked.
