potterton envoy 40?

in addition to my first question meant to add that P comes up on the control panel which indicates a
(LIVE ON NEUTRAL CONNECTION). the guy who has checked the boiler is stumped. not sure he knows what a live on neutral connection means (not sure i do either) thought live on neutral would blow fuse!! even tried another pcb same problem. anyone who has any ideas i would be eternaly grateful!!! house is freezing!!

Thanks to this forum, and to Kevin Mercer, my boiler works perfectly! It saved me the cost of a new board at £250 or more likely the cost of a new boiler. Kevin returned this board to me within a few days and I would happily reccomend him.

I can recommend Kevin Mercer for boiler pcb repairs. I now have 2 working pcbs for my Potterton boiler (one as a back up/ spare) thanks to Kevin.

iv`e recieved my pcb back from the guy i sent it to and it works a treat. it was only 40 quid to get it repaired(very reasonable i thought).

I have 2 Envoy 50 boilers, they really are cr*p. If it was working before then it is very unlikely that there really is live on the neutral. More probably the PCB is knacked. In this condition they give all sorts of fault codes. Try another (new) pcb if possible. They are very expensive and I now have 2 broken ones. Let me know if you find a repair service
