Removing a blade from a Flymo compact 330?

How do i remove a steel blade from a Flymo compact 330? The center bolt keeps turning in both directions.

It sounds like the threads are stripped. This also means that there is nothing holding the blade in place. The Bolt should turn anti clockwise to undo and clockwise to tighten.
