Mend MTD Yardman Clutch Lawn Engine

Removing Electronic clutch on MTD yardman ride on mower?

How do i get the bolt undone from the engine pto pulley. The bolt is connected to the engine shaft and i don't know haw to stop the shaft from turning. I need to remove the clutch assembly from the engine shaft, and to do so i need to undo this bolt.

You can use a piece of nylon rope coiled inside the spark plug hole, a pry bar against the fly wheel. I have had best luck with a vice grip on the shaft above the clutch.
