Faulty Alpha 240P Boiler?

my hot water sometimes comes through other times it doesnt,i can run water through for ages and nothing then other times its right away.
radiators arent a problem they come on instantly and red hot.
but not the hot water however i can have hot water when the radiators are on no worries there.

i have same boiler with similar problem. dont think its anything to do with water or gas pressure. i think it may have something to do with a faulty 'flow switch' or a faulty thermostat in the boiler.

My neon light has gone out on the boiler - How do I fix it as the boiler won't start now?

It happened after turning the main fuses on and off whilst I fitted a new light fitting

Hi There

My aplha boiler CB24 has constant problems i have already had 3 call outs this year with the DHW value being replaced and various other bits because i was randomly getting hot water by putting the heating on.
The new problem is the heating every now and then turns itself on (not switched on my switch). This i understand should only happen when the temperature drops below freezing and i know that is not the case yet. I have found by turning the hot tap on it flicks back off.
Can anyone help, i can't believe i have to call the plumber again so any suggestions would be great.

I have the same issue and I found out what this light means: it is a warning light indicating that blocked flue or fan fault, contact your Service Engineer.
