Sharp LC-32P70E unable to turn on - help!?

Had the above TV for 18 months, problems started by screen freezing. Now I cannot switch the TV on at all. It goes to turn on and the green button lights up as if its going to turn on but then it goes into red stand by mode. Have no idea of the problem but has been quoted £90 to pay labour plus parts to get it fixed. Is it worth it or should I be buying a new TV? Don't want to spend £150-200 on this to fix for it to break again in a years time....

its the power suply, transformer, £100 should fix it, but make sure you get 12 months g/t on work carried out, take it to a back street shop for best rates
