when i turn my xbox 360 on it does show up on the tv??

I have the same problem its realy annoying because i hadn't touched my xbox for 2 days and when i decided to go on it it didn't work.

it's the video card in the system. this is a common problem and microsoft wants $100 to fix it.

the system runs too hot normally and after a while it will melt the video card and eventually lead to the red ring of death. see the microsoft xobox site for more info.

if you try to fix this yourself it will void any warranty you may have and microsoft will ban you from logging into xbox live.

check yhe lead that connects box to tv, at the box end is a slider switch slide that and try.
