My Runner is having problems starting, has been standing for about 4 months before i brought it. The plug is sparking and has good compression but still will not start have you any idea ???

I'm currently new to this forum and I would really like some advice please!!! I've bought a Gilera so 50 and it's been stood 16 years reacently changed plug all starts as should with kick start no problem there... but I've bought a brand new battery for it to get electrics going charged the 12v battery over night and there's no power at all running threw bike?? Any advice please guys bikes booked in for mot Saturday and need all working asap so would much appreshaite all your help and advice thanks

My hikers runner was working went dwn road after fitting a new throttle cable and it just died on me and can't get it to re start,checked all the basics plug fuel etc,any ideas please??

try kicking it it wont start stright away the battery mite be goused. if none of those check if its gettin fuel in to carb

my gillera runner sp 50cc will not start all the lights work but when i go to yous the electric start it will not turn over im not to sure if i need a new battery please eny surgestions

hi i have bought a little 125 custom i put the key in light comes on but the other lights such as main beam lights horn nothing so woont turn over

make sure that there is enough oil in it and make sure the fuel jet is tight because some people unscrew them wen they are not using them, if that does not work try and opening the gap on your spark plug but try and use the kick start to start it well give it a better spark

drain the carb off it will have stale fuel in it, then just press the start button dont open the throttle until it is warmed up a bit

Probably has blocked carb pilot jet, strip and clean carb and check all jets, also check that fuel is reaching the carb.
