my gillera runner vx 2003 wont start ?

my gilera runner vx 125 wont start all lights work and horn ect but wen i push the start button there is a click then nothing any idias

Gilera Gilera Runner VX 125 Vehicles, Motorcycles Runner Vx Gilera 125

Take the battery off and charge it on a charger even if the lights etc work the starter takes loads of power to turn.
