How can I fix a whirlpool gas hob which ignites but does not stay on?

I have a five burner Whirlpool gas hob - 2 year old. The middle burner after it lights up does not stay on. Can anyone help on what could be wrong?

Hi, did you ever get an answer or a solution to this problem? I also have a whirlpool (IKEA) gas hob, bought in 2006, with 5 burners and the rear left burner only occassionaly works if you hold the gas and ignition on manaully for about 5 minutes. Would love to know how to sort this out! Regards Dan
