Shucks, li'll missy, even we adults have that problem at the office!! The problem is usually an 'administrative' one. The powers-that-be assume that the website(s) draw alot of attention from ne'rdo wells and other such time wasters and fear that unlawful/viral material etc, can end up on their servers. Thus they use controls from the 'hub' of the school system, literally the System administrator in the 'IT' dept.
So, unless you are innordinately persuasive or tantalising or just a dab hand at bribery, there's little chance of breaking this mold. You can always try a bit of 'class' action..get your comrades to put together a sensible petition..what have u got to lose..? Good luck. Oh,yes, beyond that, if u have a wireless laptop handy, u never know where you'll pick up a stray open channel :-) B nice to know how u got on. C
