Mend Ford Escort Diesel Fuel Pump Engine

1.8 diesel escort van cutting out?

anyone have any ideas why the engine keeps cutting out ????
replaced the diesel pump and fuel and airfilters starts fine but cuts out usually when coming to a stop ???????????????????????????????????

Try a filter housing and check all your fuel lines invade it's drawing air into the system

sounds as if u might be drawing air in the fuel system.check 4 air leak.
