BT Freestyle 2500 - interference from wireless router?

I have a BT Voyager 2091 Wireless ADSL Router which is causing interference on my BT Freestyle 2500 'phone set up. The interference is so bad that a) it is hard to hear 'phone calls and b) messages left on the answering machine are impossible to hear. I have tried changing the channels via http://192.168.1.1/ but no success. Grateful for any suggestions.
I have had just the same issue. I had forgotten to put an ADSL filter between the phone socket and the cordless phone base station. You should have been given one with your wireless router/modem.
I put mine back in and the system works fine without any interference.
