As you have not had an answer here goes but it is a big question as you don't give much information.
Most ADSL routers have two lights. One shows that you have an ADSL connection to your local exchange and the other that you are connected to your ISP's network. You can figure which is which from your manual.
Once the router has booted the ADSL light will blink and then go solid. If this fails to happen here are the reasons: You do not have an ADSL service, the modem in the router is kaput, you have entered the network parameters wrong for your ADSL service. So recheck them: Network Type - ?, VCI - ?, VPI - ?. Your ISP can supply what tye asupposedto bne.
If the ADSL light goes solid then the Internet Light will blink and should go solid at that point your are logged on to your ISP's network. If tje light does not go solid recheck the User name and password given to you by your ISP.
