Mend Ford Mondeo 20

Ford Mondeo MK3 2.0 LX CDi?

My Mondeo has the standard display - centre console with manual fan / temp / selector dials then above that standard clock, hazard warning and heater switches. The back plug assy looks like the upgraded climate control assy. doers anyone konw if the climate control will just plug in and replace the manual version?

I have the Zetec model, trying the same. Came across the same solution, climate control only works if fan speed is controlled using the original manual switch.

There must be an external interface box or relay unit were missing.

Does anyone know where this unit is fitted?

hello, i have just put a climate controll system in my car, there is only 2 plugs that go in the climate so your left with the plug that does fan speed, i have just pulled the wire round to the glove box and put the nob back on the plug, sorry if not much help
