programing info is for sale on ebay.
you can get one working again even if the battery goes flat on the car and the alarm does not respond !

ebay, but you're looking at just under/over a tenner for the case, buttons, battery only. found this out by mistake, as I was looking for the complete unit!!!
hope you find this valuable as I believe the parts are more expensive from a bmw specialist. Just make sure you read the advertisements on ebay properly to avoid making a similar mistake to me!!!
