I have a Smeg DWD1SSE -1 dishwasher that will not start. I have checked the power, cleaned all filters but when I press the start button it 'beeps' as normal as if about to start the cycle then just stops. does anyone know if I can reset the dishwasher or know whats up with it?
You could try this - I have a DW1710E Smeg Dishwasher and I found the reset button on mine. Whether this is the same as yours you will find out. Behind the plinth, your dishwasher has a steel panel. I removed this and exposed the wiring, the reset button is red and at the leftmost part of the machine, on the "ceiling" of the bottom on the machine (if that makes sense!). Remember to switch off first. Good Luck.
